DIY Dollar Tree Cupcake Stand – Farm House Style
I decided to make cupcakes for my daughter’s most recent birthday party and wanted to have a creative way to display them. I was trying to spend as little as possible, while still allowing her to have a nice birthday. This is why I decided to make my own DIY Dollar Tree cupcake stand.

It is so easy. I know that anyone can do this. Here are the details for this DIY Dollar Tree cupcake stand.
How to Make Your DIY Dollar Tree Cupcake Stand
All you need are 3 of the plastic serving trays and two candle holders, from the dollar tree. I used a larger tray for the base and two smaller ones for the top two tiers.
Put the largest plastic tray down for the base and then hot glue or super glue one candle holder to the middle of the base. Then, glue the 2nd tray to the top of that candle holder. Then repeat the process with the next candle holder and tray.
Ta-Da! It’s that easy! Your own DIY Dollar Tree cupcake holder, that looks like it came from a high-end store. (well except that mine did wobble ever so slightly 😉 )

Be Creative and Make It Your Own
I had originally planned on spray painting the whole cupcake stand, white. As you can tell I decided against that. I ended up liking this simple look a lot better.
This turned out super cute. I can use this again and again, and it was only 5 dollars!! You can’t beat that. 🙂
You can totally make this your own. Spray paint this any color, use different shaped trays, or even use other objects in place of the candle holders. I thought the little glass cups or small flower vases, from the Dollar Tree, would have also worked well.
I hope this helps you plan your next party on a budget!
