Extreme Spring Cleaning Checklist (Free Printable)
Spring Cleaning Checklist – Before Hand
This spring cleaning checklist can be used any time of the year. If you feel your house needs a good deep cleaning and it’s the middle of the winter then go for it!
I actually prefer starting my spring cleaning in the winter while we are locked up with nowhere to go. I mean really, who wants to shove ALL of this cleaning into one week?! I think that would be just about impossible.
When you read the list you’ll notice that it really is the extreme spring cleaning checklist. It may even seem a bit overwhelming when you first look at.
Don’t worry I’ll give you some tips for making it seem less daunting.
Weekly Cleaning Checklist
Before we jump into spring cleaning I want to encourage you to do two things that will help you stay on top of your housework.
Let’s face it, Spring Cleaning is great and very beneficial, but what about the rest of the year?
My first suggestion is to start a weekly cleaning routine. It will change your house. It will be clean more often and in less time.
Here is what you need to do:
- Read my blog post: A Simple Cleaning Routine – A Clean Home In Less Time
- Sign Up for the Free Printables Library – you’ll get access to this Spring Cleaning Checklist, my Weekly Cleaning Checklist, my free Ebook “Simplify Your Life With a Cleaning Routine,” and much more
- Join my Facebook Group – get daily accountability and ideas for making homemaking more simple
Declutter First
Here is the second thing to keep in mind when it comes to having a clean home… If your house is overwhelmed with your material possessions your house will always be messy.
No amount of spring cleaning will help a cluttered home. Do yourself a favor and focus on going through your whole house and throwing things out until only the necessary and the loved are left.
I have a couple of resources to help you with this as well.
You can get started with my free challenge, Declutter Your Bedroom in 3 Days, or go all in and read my Ebook, Declutter Your Whole House in Your Own Time.
Deep Cleaning Checklist Tip
You can print the spring cleaning checklist off for free as well as read it here on the blog. I suggest printing it off so that you can physically check things off as you go.
This list is long and can seem daunting. I would print it off, and highlight what it is that you really want to get done. Do the highlighted tasks first and then move on to others as you have time.
I wouldn’t even stress about getting it all of it done in the Spring. Keep this page in the back of your planner and focus on tackling this list, little by little, as the year goes on.
Your other option is to use my Deep Cleaning Planner. This really breaks things down and gives you a very specific plan for getting your house tidied up.

I’m finally about to list out every task on the ultimate spring cleaning checklist. I wanted to point out one last thing first.
You may notice that some of the chores are hyperlinks. These will link you to resources that will give you the best tips and tricks for getting that chore done.
Also, I will continue to add more appropriate links as I find better resources or as I write my own.
